Calif. counselors help consumers navigate enrollment questions

Certified counselors in California are encountering some difficulties helping consumers through the health insurance enrollment process, but the state reports that public access has been relatively smooth, with 70% of people using the public website saying it was easy to fill out an application. Some aspects of the Covered California website, including links to Spanish-language material, have posed problems for counselors who are turning to printed forms to start the enrollment process.
