People with canceled coverage to get ACA exemption under White House plan

A senior official said Thursday that the White House will allow a hardship exemption for people whose health insurance has been canceled under the Affordable Care Act. These individuals will be allowed to purchase a catastrophic insurance policy in place of a more comprehensive plan.
